First of all, a car is built to be driven. Not to be stored in a garage and never getting out. Of course, I keep it clean, healthy and in good shape to have as much driving fun as possible. Sometimes I take it for a drive to the track, but mainly on public roads.
Showing my car isn't why I attend some car shows in The Netherlands and abroad. It's about meeting people with a common interest in cars and Shelby's in particular. I'll never win an award for the most shiny car, but every great show is an award on itself.
Driving and showing are not the only ways to enjoy the car. I love working on it, working on related things (like this website) and other stuff. I also give others (like children with disabilities and/or diseases) the opportunity to enjoy a ride with a roaring supercharged V8. For free, of course.
